#1 Vacation with grandparents
#2 When you bring the grandparents, just listen to them.
When this Grandma told me her craft plans for the kids that involved foam pieces, seashells and beads all I could picture was said items all over the floor of my car. But I’m clearly a buzzkill and need to lighten up because well, just because.
#3 Fly a kite
But be careful when handing it over to your 8 year old, she could barely keep her feet on the ground!
#4 Pop some popcorn, put the kids in front of a movie and enjoy an hour and a half of silence.
#5 Go crazy and shave your beard.
#6 Let your 5 year old drive on the beach
#7 If you get a chance, walk 2 miles out into the ocean on a jetty of giant granite rocks. It will kick your butt, but you won’t regret it.
#8 Try not to miss any moments
