I did not grow up surrounded by cousins. Mine were on opposite coasts and I got to see them maybe once every couple of years or so. While I love that my parents chose to move to and raise their family in this gorgeous state of Colorado, I definitely longed to have that closeness to my extended family.  My husband had that, and so do my children which I am so grateful for.  I’m also grateful for Facebook, say what you will but at the end of the day it’s connected me with long lost cousins.

One of my cousins actually moved to Colorado awhile back and while we don’t get to see each other very often (kids, life…you know the drill) I love it whenever we get the chance. She has such a beautiful family so I was thrilled when she asked me to do their photos this past fall.

She has a couple of tow-headed boys just like me – swoon.
