Well just as quickly as I put up my freshly painted white vases, I took ’em right back down to decorate for Halloween.
Honestly, I’ve never been big on ‘going all out’ for this particular holiday but when I saw this picture on pinterest from Shelley B Decor and More I was hooked. I knew I had to have those witches legs! I found them online for anywhere from $25 to $80 and wasn’t even going to think twice about ordering them (I’m a little project overloaded at the moment..ahem). BUT, on my trip to Jo-Ann’s I spied these tights and shoe covers for 50% off so I couldn’t resist.
My cost to make these was under $10.
I didn’t want to stare at anything too cutesy for the rest of the month so with the exception of the pops of orange I went black and white.
This dark and twisty (yet sparkly?) tree was a steal a couple of years ago from Pier One on clearance. The bats I bought at the dollar store and hung with thread.
I spied some very cool striped candles on One Kings Lane ($16) and replicated them with some dollar store candles and spray paint.
And just like that, we’re decorated for Halloween.
oh my gosh, that is so cute and such a good idea. and i love the shelf above the tv, i’ve never thought to do that.
Thank you so much!
