Are you a Groopdealz groupie like me?
There was a period of time when deal sites were fairly new on the scene and being the cheapskate bargain hunter that I am, I signed up for just about every one of them. Before long it was too much, I was inundated daily and suddenly deal shopping wasn’t even fun anymore (I know, right??). So I narrowed it down to my favorites and Groopdealz rose to the top.
Love, love, love this site.
It’s fun, fresh and the prices are unbeatable. And whether you’re already a fan or this is your first time hearing of them, I’m hosting a $50 giveaway so you can shop to your hearts content!
(This post contains affiliate links. What the heck are affiliate links, you say? Click here to read my disclaimer policy.)
Rules for the contest (easy-peasy) are at the bottom of the post. To get your shopping juices flowing I thought I would share with you my 5 favorite deals that I’ve scored over the past year so here goes:
(***Please note – all of the prices listed below are the prices at which I purchased the item (before shipping). If it comes up for sale again there is no guarantee that the price would be exactly the same)
1. Slip on Moccasin Flats – $9.99
Yep, just ten bucks.
Comfy. Stylish. I adore them.
While this sale is over, you might like these.
2. Shabby Chic Bottle Openers – $6.99
We recently had a patio built onto our home so I’ve been on the lookout for things that will make it a fun and unique space. When I saw these on Groopdealz I didn’t hesitate and bought two.
I put them at the bottom of the stair railing convenient access. No more trying to hunt down a bottle opener!
3. Cable Knit Fingerless Gloves – $7.99
If I could knit (which I actually could if I took about 4 1/2 hours to reteach myself) I couldn’t even make these gloves myself for this little amount of money. Let alone the fact that they would likely wind up with the thumbhole where the pinky finger is…but I digress.
As a photographer in Colorado, I often do photos shoots when it’s cold outside. Wearing gloves isn’t really an option so my (awesome) solution became these fingerless gloves:
They’re well made, adorable and actually WORK to keep my hands a lot warmer.
4. Fold Over Maxi Skirt – $10.99
The year that Maxi Skirts came into style was a glorious one for me, they’re so dang comfortable I can’t get enough of them. And luckily they’ve stayed in style because I couldn’t resist when this one went on sale.
I recently had my colors done (another post for another day) and turns out ‘olive’ is one of them. I happen to love Olive so I’m happy to wear the heck out of this skirt regardless of the season.
5. Kids 5 Layer Fringe Boots – $21.99
And you thought it was all about me. Nope, they have amazing stuff for kids too. As a matter of fact I’ve already started doing some Christmas shopping (shhhhh!) because the deals are too good to pass up. But there’s no way I could keep these from Grace until Christmas…
As a matter of fact I intentionally ordered the next size up (knowing her feet would grow before it got cold outside – or before dinner perhaps…) but do you think she cares that they’re too big and that it’s HOT outside today?
Nope.
Do you have a little fashionista at home too? Check out these ankle boots for her.
So there you have it, my top 5 (for the moment anyway). Now it’s time to enter this super simple giveaway.
