Today was a big day.
It was a good day.
This one started 1st grade.
I was trying to figure out how to get her to the bus stop, then take the boys to preschool…then get to her school in time to walk her into class.
“Mommy why would you come to my school?”
Whuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…?
Apparently, she’s a big girl now who doesn’t need me to walk her into class.
Ugh.
So we took her to the bus stop.
Hugged her goodbye.
And bam. She’s gone.
Then Luke started looking for his bus. Sorry buddy, your bus looks a lot like our Pilot.
Here they are getting off ‘the bus’
We walked them into class and Luke started with coloring.
Jack went for the legos.
No tears, no drama.
Just a really good day.
Oh and I had a meeting at Grace’s school so I might have stalked her took as pic as they made their way to the library..
She’s all business.
And a little bit ‘fashion’ as she would say.
My baby girl.
This guy with that straight smile of his.
Hello GQ
Sweetest boy.
Here Luke, it’s your turn. Hold the sign for Mommy and smile.
It’s upside down honey.
Hold it down buddy.
“No I’m BIG”
Yes you are sweetheart.
And you’re a big goofball too.
And we love you in a big, big way.
Good day.
These pictures tell the story about how excited “we” are to take the next step. It is “I” who is hanging the long lip. I have gotten used to stopping by and walking to Cake Crumbs or picking up the car load and heading to Turtle Park or better yet, coming to our house to swim and play. I am looking forward to more days like that. So I promise to see you soon.
