“Mom are we making soap clouds today?”
“Yes Grace, let me finish getting ready and we’ll do it.”
2 minutes go by
“Mom, can we make soap clouds now?”
“Grace I’m still getting ready.”
about 90 seconds later
“Mom-”
“Grace, don’t ask me that question again!”
“Okay…mom, can you please hurry up and be done getting ready?”
Well, in all fairness it was a different question.
This little rainy day activity requires one thing – Ivory soap. Why Ivory? I have no idea but I wasn’t about to mess around with the instructions on this one.
*not pictured here is the saran wrap I put under it before we started the microwave.
Grace wanted to push the buttons
(we did just over 1 minute on high, maybe could have gone longer but I chickened out)
Watch it grow!
(Apparently I’m very lucky to have a cold and not be able to smell anything because Jared said it was practically burning his nostrils!)
So fun!
After awhile it starts to crumble
So I swept up the pieces, stuck it back into the microwave and yep, it worked!
Seriously, this rocked.
Be brave, do it!
Ivory works because it has air bubbles inside. That’s why it floats in the bathtub.
I knew someone would know the answer to that…of course it’s you Randy 🙂
Loving your posts Jennifer I’m pinning away :0)
