I remember the night that we decided: one more baby.
Over a glass of wine, on a date at our favorite Indian restaurant I finally verbalized what had been swimming around in my head…should we or shouldn’t we? I can honestly say I didn’t really want to be pregnant again, but I couldn’t shake the desire to have one more person in our family.
I braced myself for his answer.
“Sure, yeah. Let’s go for it.”
And so we did.
And I think someone is pretty happy about the decision.
Those forehead wrinkles…Jared and I don’t have little Gerber babies, we breed little old men.
Hi Daddy.
We’re having a moment here…
Just needed some snuggles.
Aaaaaaand he’s out.
Those sweet lips.
I love little bowlegged, pigeon toed newborn legs.
Their wrinkly, flaky little feet.
Their little fists all balled up.
The way they make sleep look sooooo good. Especially since they rob it from us mercilessly…
I set up my tripod and snuck into a few. Critically they’re not all that and a bag of chips, but they exist! So moms…you have no excuse not to be in photos.
The meaning of the name Levi: joined together in harmony.
and that is just what this sweet baby has done.
I say it all the time…Just one more. How blessed Randy and I are to have you and Jared and your beautiful children in our lives. Thank You!
