#1 Jared was laid off from his job about 7 weeks ago. It was a bit stunning and somewhat scary but it’s all good because…
#2 Jared started a new company about 3 weeks ago. Anyone who saw Jared over the last year had to notice how stressed out he was, his job was just crushing him and all of that stress isn’t good for his eyes. I can’t tell you how many times he said he wished there were something he could do from home. We prayed. And prayed. Guess what? God answered.
#3 As a result of the new biz, we are tightening our belts a bit so a gym membership isn’t happening. No problem:
#4 My beloved Evo broke. Sniff. So I broke up with Android and crossed over to the ‘bright side’. I am the proud new owner of a pretty white iphone. But I could hardly prove that to you because it’s rarely in my possession. This guy…addicted.
“What? Yeah I know I got one sock on. So? Have you seen my new phone?”
It’s reached a point where we have to set the timer so we don’t let ‘Apple’ raise our kids. Here’s Grace waiting for her turn, with a bit of a sense of humor.
and then there’s Jack, not quite as cool when it’s his turn to wait
#5 We got two teeth!! And therefore we are chewing on, well everything.
#6 Stop The Press!! My husband picked up the camera and actually took a picture of me with one of my children. Yes, this is worthy of the top 7, seriously.
#7 No coincidence I picked the number 7 here. I’m starting something new here where each week I will have one post centered around 7. Maybe I’ll commit to doing something for all 7 days that week, or it could just be a list of 7 like today. Anyway…look out for 7!!
Awesome update, so great to see you guys are doing well and congrats on the new business! The kids are unbelievably adorable too, nice work 🙂 Tell ol’ Faris Wheel hey for me, really wish I hadn’t been so out of touch this year.
Jared says ‘hi’ too! Love your updates on Facebook – you’re doing a great job with those girls.
